Hyderabad, July 21: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall in several districts of north Telangana on Tuesday due to the influence of a surface trough.
Officials at the Hyderabad Meteorological Centre said light to moderate rain is also likely in other parts of the state. Hyderabad city is expected to receive light showers during the day.
Rains Alert Issued for Telangana
The weather department has advised people to remain alert in view of the possibility of heavy rainfall in several districts.
Officials also urged the public to avoid taking shelter under trees during rain and to follow safety precautions while travelling.
The forecast comes as monsoon activity remains active across parts of Telangana, with weather conditions expected to remain favourable for rainfall in several regions.
