Imran Khan’s Sister Calls Operation Sindoor A Success

Islamabad, July 21: Noreen Niazi, sister of former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, has alleged that the Pakistan Army misled the public about the outcome of Operation Sindoor, claiming the military attempted to portray the operation as a victory despite suffering setbacks.

Her remarks have triggered political controversy in Pakistan, with authorities initiating action against her.

Noreen Niazi Faces Notice Over Remarks

According to reports, Niazi claimed the Pakistan Army spread misinformation during the operation and attempted to conceal its failures.

She alleged that India achieved its objectives under Operation Sindoor and said Pakistan’s military narrative did not reflect the actual outcome of the conflict.

Niazi also claimed that India chose not to escalate the situation further for strategic reasons. She further alleged that Pakistan stepped back from its military operation following the intervention of US President Donald Trump.

Following her remarks, Pakistan’s National Cyber Investigation Agency issued a notice to Niazi over statements allegedly targeting the country’s military and government institutions. Authorities also accused her of spreading false information through social media.

The ruling Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML N) criticised Niazi’s comments, describing them as irresponsible.
