Heavy Rains: Weather Suddenly Changed in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, May 31 (Maxim News): The atmosphere in Hyderabad has changed dramatically. The city which was facing heavy heat till afternoon today, suddenly cooled down.

It rained in many parts of the city at Film Nagar, Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills, Panjagutta, Ameerpet, Kukatpally, Balanagar and other areas received heavy rain. In some areas, power supply was disrupted due to strong winds. Due to the heavy rainfall on the roads, the traffic was blocked and the motorists faced severe problems.

The people who have been suffering from heat for the past few days have got some relief due to the rain. On the other hand, the Indian meteorological Department (IMD) said in its forecast that the southwest monsoon is likely to enter Telangana between June 7 to June 11 and heavy rains will fall. Monsoon will intensify in the state from the end of June.

According to current forecasts, the monsoon will hit Telangana from June 7 to 11. The Meteorological Department said that the rains will be heavy initially with the arrival of monsoons. (Maxim News)
