The case centers around two controversial government orders. The first GO No. 167 issued on August 16, 2018, enabled government land to be allotted at a nominal rate of Rs. 100 per square yard. The second G.O No. 47 issued on May 11, 2022, granted 4935 square yards of government land at NBT Nagar, Banjara Hills, to the BRS for the construction of its district office. The petitioner challenged that the same would amount to discrimination.  The bench adjourned the case by three weeks.  (Maxim News)
