High Court Posted Kavitha Bail’s Petition To May 24 Served Notice To CBI

Delhi/Hyderabad, May 16 (Maxim News): The Delhi High Court has issued a notice to the CBI after hearing a petition filed by BRS MLC Kavitha seeking bail in the Delhi Liquor Scam case.  Later, the High Court adjourned the further hearing to May 24.  The Delhi High Court will hear the petition filed by Kavitha in the ED case on the same day.

Kavitha has been staying in Complex 6 (complex for women prisoners) of Tihar Jail for about 46 days in the Delhi Liquor Scam.

Meanwhile, the court has already rejected the interim and regular bail petitions filed by Kavitha challenging the ED and CBI’s arrest and seeking bail.  She approached the Delhi High Court.  the bench of Justice Swarna Kanta sharma, which recently heard the petition. adjourned the hearing to May 24.  (Maxim News)
