High Court Question KCR Govt On The ORR Tollgate Tenders

Hyderabad, July 28 (Maxim News):  The High Court of Telangana has expressed anger on Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s government asking the government why details of the ORR Tollgate tenders were given to the MP when asked. 

The High Court of Telangana today took up the hearing on the petition filed by TPCC Chief Revanth Reddy on ORR tollgate tenders.  It may be recalled that Revant Reddy has sought the details by filing the petition under the Right to Information Act.  The High Court ruled that if the opposition parties are not given details, what will they talk about in the Assembly?

The Advocate General told the Court that he is ready to give the details.  The High Court has issued orders to give the details requested by Revanth Reddy within two weeks.  The High Court adjourned the further hearing to August 4.   

It is known that Telangana congress president Revanth Reddy has filed a petition in the High Court against not giving information on ORR tenders.  Revanth stated in the petition that HMDA officials did not respond to his RTI application.  Also, in the petition filed by him, Revanth Reddy has included HMDa and Hyderabad Growth Corridor as respondents.  Revanth Reddy stated in the petition filed by the High Court that the information sought under RTI should be ordered.  (Maxim News)
