High Court Stays Suspension Of SERP Employees In Siddipet
Hyderabad, April 19 (Maxim News): The Telangana High Court stayed the suspension of Siddipet SERP employees. 106 people were recently suspended by the district Collector for participating in the meeting organized by Medak BR’s MP candidate Venkarami Reddy in violation of the Election Code, among them 38 are SERP employees and 68 belong to the Employment Guarantee Scheme.

A petition has been filed in the High Court against suspending SERP employees. The Lawyer on behalf of SERP employees argued that the Collector has no authority to suspend. The High Court stayed it. After that, the High Court adjourned the further hearing to June 18.
On april 7, Medak Lok Sabha candidate Venkatrami Reddy, SUDA’s former Chairman Ravinder Reddy, and some other leaders met with the employment guarantee and SERP employees at Reddy Welfare Bhavan in Siddipet. As this was revealed a case was registered against Venkatrami Reddy and Ravinder Reddy. In this order, departmental action was taken against the employees.
