Hyderabad, March 21 (Maxim News): The Telangana government headed by Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao has got another setback in the High Court as the High Court held a hearing on the TSPSC paper leakage case. The court directed the government to submit a status report on the case. As the government asked for time for this, it gave a deadline of three weeks. The next hearing was adjourned to April 11.
A total of 6 exams have been cancelled, 5 lakh people have applied for various exams, three and a half lakh people wrote civils and 25 thousand people were selected in Prelims. On the 18th of this month, IT Minister K.Tarak Rama Rao in a press conference made key statements. How can it be said that only two leaked the paper? How does a minister conduct an investigation? There are 20 top scorers from the same Mandal. Candidates’ marks are not included anywhere on the website. Many were favored in the form of marks. requested the Court to hand over the case to CBI. The petitioner’s lawyer Vivek argued.
The Council on behalf of the government argued that the SIT will make the investigation of this case transparent. No need to give it to the CBI. The petitioners have nothing to do with this exam council. This petition was filed for political purposes. The petition has no locus standi and hence the petition has to be dismissed. Such petitions have become common. The government reacted as soon as it came to know that the paper was leaked. SIT has arrested 9 people in this. The SIT will also go to some Mandals and investigate. The Court allowed the custody of the accused from March 18 to 23.
