Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force, South-East Zone team, along with Chandrayangutta Police, raided a hookah parlor at Chandrayangutta X Roads and arrested two people.
The arrested men were identified as Khaled Bahamed, the owner of the parlor, and Imran Pasha. During the raid, police seized seven hookah pots, seven pipes, and other items worth around ₹30,000. The arrested men and the seized materials were handed over to Chandrayangutta Police for further action.
The raid was carried out under the supervision of Inspector S Saidababu and the South-East Zone Task Force team.
In another raid, the Task Force, along with Santosh Nagar Police, busted a gaming den and arrested 18 people, including the manager. The manager, identified as Akbar Hussain and 17 punters were taken into custody.
All those arrested, along with the seized items, were handed over to Santosh Nagar Police for further investigation.
These raids are part of the police’s ongoing efforts to crack down on illegal activities and ensure public safety in Hyderabad.
