Hyderabad, Oct 6 (Maxim News): The Dussehra festival is over.. The school holidays given to children have also ended. With this, the city dwellers from the villages have started their return journey to Hyderabad.
With the start of schools from today, those who had gone to their hometowns are reaching the city. This has led to a large number of vehicles at the toll plazas, causing a huge traffic jam. Many people left the villages for the city on Sunday itself.
It is known that people left Hyderabad for many districts in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on the occasion of Dussehra. All of them returned to Hyderabad from Saturday. Some reached Hyderabad on Saturday and some on Sunday.
However, some others left for Hyderabad in the early hours of today (Monday). But they are facing traffic jams at the toll plazas. Motorists are facing severe difficulties due to heavy traffic jams at the toll gates. The rush for the return journey of Dussehra continues on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada National Highway 65.
There is a heavy traffic jam in Choutuppal. There is a two-kilometer traffic jam at Peddakaparthi in Chityala mandal. Traffic is stopped for two kilometers at the Pantangi toll plaza. There is a two-kilometer traffic jam from Choutuppal to Reddybavi. However, due to the absence of traffic police, vehicles are lined up on the national highway. Due to this, motorists are facing difficulties on the highway. (Maxim News)
