Hyderabad Floods: Huge Traffics Jams In The City

Hyderabad, Sept 5 (Maxim News):  The situation of traffic jams has become worse because of the rains in Hyderabad.  Everywhere vehicles are seen in traffic jams for hours.

It has been raining heavily since this early morning. Everywhere you look in the city, you can see traffic jams. Collector Anudeep Durishetty has issued orders that all educational institutions in Hyderabad will be closed due to heavy rain. All the roads were waterlogged and many areas were waterlogged and the traffic came to a standstill.

The Commissioner of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has asked people to stay inside for the next few hours unless it is an emergency.

Due to the rain, the traffic in Miyapur, Hi-Tech City, and Madhapur areas has come to a standstill.  Hyderabad Traffic Police has confirmed through their Twitter that the movement of vehicles on the PVNR flyover, Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital, NMDC, and Masab Tank is slow.  Traffic Additional Commissioner of Police G. Sudhir Babu visited the Rasool Pura, Tarnaka, and Sangeet Junctions.  GHMC advised people to call 040-21111111 or 9000113667 for DRF assistance as there is a possibility of more rain in Hyderabad.

IN OTHER DISTRICTS

The situation is the same in other districts of the state as it is Hyderabad, Adilabad, Komuram Bhim Asifabad, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, mahbubnagar districts due to heavy rains.

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert.  On the other hand, the surface circulation is continuing in the North-East Bay of Bengal, the North-West Bay of Bengal, and its surrounding areas, extending up to 7.6 km above sea level and moving towards the southwest.  IMD Amaravati said due to its influence, low pressure is likely to form in the northwest and adjoining Central Bay of Bengal.
