Hyderabad: Monda Market Police Seized 185 Grams Of Ganja, One Held

Hyderabad, Jan 11 (Maxim News): On credible information, the Monda Market Police have apprehended one person Numabi Sekh (24) occupation a Pan shop business resident of Sajjanlal Street at Monda Market, Secunderabad native of West Bengal, and seized 185 gms of Ganja from his possession which he was trying to sell the same to needy customers.

On further inquiry, the accused confessed that he has procured ganja from one person by the name of Suri who visits his shop and he is selling the same to needy customers at a high price in order to earn easy money illegally. The accused along with the seized ganja was handed over to Addl. Inspector of Police, E.Shekar for further investigation.

The police have appealed to the general public stating that several youth/students are addicted to Ganja/Drugs, engaged in crime, and other anti-social activities. several families have become victims of this menace. It is an ardent request from Hyderabad City Police to the youth/students not to fall prey to drugs and request the parents to keep a watch on the activities of their children and feel free to approach the police or pass information to the police to curtail such anti-social activities and strive for a Drug-free city.
