Hyderabad Numaish 2025: 247 Arrested for Misbehaving with Women
Hyderabad, Feb 21 (Maxim News): The Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) for Women’s Safety reported that the ‘She Teams‘ have arrested 247 individuals for indecent behavior towards women during the Numaish (Nampally Exhibition) 2025.
Legal action was taken in 37 cases throughout the exhibition, which ran from January 3 to February 17. Among the arrested, two were sentenced to two days in jail, and 33 were fined Rs. 1,050 each.
Additionally, 190 individuals were released with a warning, while investigations are ongoing for 20 more cases.
The arrests include 223 adults and 24 minors, as confirmed by the police department. (Maxim News)
