Hyderabad Numaish 2026 | Hyderabad, Jan 1 (Maxim News): Hyderabad Police on Tuesday announced traffic restrictions for the All India Industrial Exhibition to ensure smooth traffic flow around Nampally.

The restrictions will be enforced from January 1 to February 15, 2026, between 4 pm and midnight daily.

The measures are linked to the 85th All India Industrial Exhibition at Nampally Exhibition Grounds. Hyderabad Police said the steps aim to improve traffic regulation and public safety.

According to the notification, RTC district buses, private buses, and heavy vehicles from Sultan Bazaar and Jambagh will be diverted at MJ Market towards Abids.

Similarly, vehicles from Basheer Bagh and the Police Control Room area will be diverted at AR Petrol Pump and BJR Statue towards Abids.

Heavy and medium vehicles from Begum Bazar Chatri towards Malakunta will be diverted at Alaska Junction via Darusalam and Ek Minar.

Vehicles from Darusalam towards Afzalgunj or Abids will also be diverted at Alaska Junction towards Begum Bazar, City College, and Nayapool.

All India Industrial Exhibition traffic restrictions in Nampally

Police said heavy and medium vehicles, including RTC buses from Moosa Bowli and Bahadurpura, will be diverted at City College towards Nayapool and MJ Market.

Therefore, commuters are advised to avoid the MJ Market, Gandhi Bhavan, and Nampally Junction route during restricted hours.

Meanwhile, visitors are encouraged to use public transport, including RTC buses and Metro Rail services.

Metro services will operate until 11.30 pm on weekdays and until midnight on weekends and public holidays.

Additionally, police advised visitors not to cross roads near the exhibition grounds and to use the Gandhi Bhavan Metro Bridge and metro lifts.

Hyderabad Police Commissioner V C Sajjanar appealed for public cooperation. He said these traffic restrictions will remain in force throughout the exhibition period to ensure safety and reduce congestion. (Maxim News)
