Hyderabad Police Arrested 18 Cyber Criminals

Hyderabad, Oct 6 (Maxim News): Hyderabad police have arrested 18 Cyber Criminals who are committing cyber crimes in thirty areas, posing themselves as CBI, ED, and Drugs offices and scaring innocent people and collecting crores.

Upto Rs. 7 crores have been taken from the Hyderabad area alone. A total of 435 cases have been registered against the 18 arrested persons so far. The police have frozen more than Rs. 1 crore in various bank accounts.

Posing as CBI, ED, and Drugs officials they made fake calls and collected money from the victims. They used to collect money in lakhs by making fake cases and making WhatsApp calls.

Hyderabad Commissioner of Police CV Anand advised people not to respond to phone calls from unknown persons.  He asked not to believe the lies of cyber criminals under any circumstances.  (Maxim News)
