Hyderabad Police Conduct Security Checks on Falaknuma Express Amid Terror Threat Alert

Hyderabad, Sept. 26 (Maxim News) : In a precautionary measure, police conducted security checks on the Falaknuma Express, which was traveling from Howrah to Secunderabad, following intelligence inputs about the possible presence of terrorists on board.

The train was temporarily halted at Ghatkesar railway station early Friday morning. Cherlapalli RPF, GRP, and Ghatkesar police teams carried out detailed inspections of all passengers and their luggage. Each suspicious individual was thoroughly screened. The checks lasted for over an hour, ensuring no potential threat was overlooked.

According to officials, the action was taken as a part of heightened security measures after receiving information about possible terror activity. Special teams were deployed to conduct comprehensive security checks on board the train. Passengers were asked to cooperate with authorities during the inspection.

After completing the security sweep and confirming that there was no imminent threat, the Falaknuma Express was allowed to continue its journey to Secunderabad. Police officials emphasized that such security protocols are routine and aim to ensure the safety of passengers traveling on major trains.
