Hyderabad: Rs. 34.31 Lakhs Cash, 53 Tons PDS Rice Seized In The Last 24 Hours

Hyderabad, May, 10 (Maxim News): Cyberabad SOT teams busted PDS smuggling racket and money transporting without proper procedure of ECI Rs. 34,31,932 cash, 53 tones of PDS rice worth Rs. 10,60,000.

During this last 24 hours SOT Medchal Team conducted vehicle checking at Suraram main road and verified Sangam Security Solution vehicle TS 10 UD 0187  which is carrying Rs. 32,54,400/- without any QR code of ECI. Suraram police are investigating the case.

SOT Balanagar team conducted vehicle checking at More Super market at KPHB and verified CMS vehicle TS 09 UE 2867 which is carrying Rs.  1,77,532/- without any QR code of ECI.  KPHB police are investigating the case.

SOT Shamshabad team caught  one lorry GJ 25 U 9238 which was smuggling 35 tonnes of PDS Rice  at Shadnagar town. On enquiry Pothula Bala Pradeep is suspected to be smuggling the PDS Rice (Absconding). Two drivers, vehicle along with PDS Rice  shifted to Police station. Shadnagar police are investigating the case.

SOT Shamshabad Team caught an auto TS 30 TA 7536 at Pedda Golconda under the limits of  Shamshabad PS which is transporting  1000 Kg of PDS Rice (01 Tonne) by one  Ramakoti of Pedda Golconda. Shifted to the Police Station. Shamshabad police investigating the case.

During the enquiry, Ramakoti revealed that he was buying PDS rice from the villages around Shamshabad and supplying it to the rice mills in Maheshwaram.

This Early morning SOT Rajendranagar Team caught a Auto TS34TB0877 & Lorry HR73A3113 at the deserted place of Kismatpur Musi bridge along with  Seventeen thousand kilos (17 tones) of PDS rice Worth Rs 3,40,000/-)  Shifted to Rajendranagar Police station. Rajendranagar Police are investigating the case.

During the enquiry, it came to know that, two persons from Kishan Bagh were collecting PDS rice from local people from different areas and smuggling it to Nagpur with the help of one transporter from LB Nagar. (Maxim News)
