Hyderabad: The Rachakonda Police Special Operations Team from Bhongir arrested one trader on charges of selling groceries and daily essentials at hiked rates at RTC Colony in LB Nagar here on Wednesday night.
The arrested person was identified as B.Srinivas Reddy(50), a resident of LB Nagar.
According to the police, Srinivas with a malicious intention to encash the situation started selling essentials at higher rates and without bills at his store Jai Prakash Traders.
Police seized groceries and essentials, all put together worth Rs 20 lakh.
Srinivas and the seized material were handed over to the LB Nagar police.
