Hyderabad, May 9: Hyderabad Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi visit to Hyderabad on May 10.
Traffic restrictions and temporary stoppages will be imposed across several parts of the city in connection with the Prime Minister’s movement and public meeting at Parade Grounds.
According to the advisory issued by the Office of the Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic, restrictions will remain in force between 1 pm and 8 pm on Saturday.
The affected route includes Begumpet Airport, Greenlands, Panjagutta, Nagarjuna Circle, NFCL Junction, SNT Junction, Sagar Society, NTR Bhavan, Jubilee Hills Check Post, Pedamma Thalli Temple junction, Road No. 36/31, Cyber Towers junction, Shilparamam, HITEX junction, NAC Main Gate, HICC Check Post and adjoining stretches.

The Traffic Police also requested citizens to avoid MG Road, RP Road and SD Road between 2 pm and 10 pm to prevent congestion.
Passengers travelling to Secunderabad Railway Station were advised to start early to avoid delays.
Officials further encouraged commuters to use Hyderabad Metro Rail services wherever possible.
The Traffic Police said commuters could contact the traffic helpline at 9010203626 for travel related information and assistance.
Citizens were also asked to report traffic related issues through the official social media handles of Hyderabad Traffic Police and cooperate with traffic personnel during the VVIP movement.
