Hyderabad: Two Arrested For Illegally Seling Oxygen Concentrators

According to the police, the duo purchased the oxygen concentrators at Rs 50,000 each for their family members but did not use them. They were trying to sell the same for Rs 65,000. “They were violating the lockdown rules and trying to sell the oxygen concentrators at exorbitant prices,” police said.

Hyderabad: The Rachakonda Police Special Operations Team with the Kushaiguda police on Tuesday arrested two persons on charges of illegally selling oxygen concentrators in AS Rao Nagar. Officials seized two concentrators from Prudvi alias Abhinay from Banjara Hills and Raja Suresh Kumar from Nallakunta.

According to the police, the duo purchased the oxygen concentrators at Rs 50,000 each for their family members but did not use them. They were trying to sell the same for Rs 65,000. “They were violating the lockdown rules and trying to sell the oxygen concentrators at exorbitant prices,” police said.

Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat warned people indulging in black marketing of oxygen cylinders and concentrators.
