Hyderabad Weather Forecast: Chill And Rain From October 25

Hyderabad Weather Forecast | Hyderabad, Oct. 24: Hyderabad is likely to experience cooler nights from October 25, with minimum temperatures potentially dropping to 16°C in some areas. Rain is also expected in parts of Telangana later in the week as a weather system over the Bay of Bengal intensifies, according to forecasts from independent weather forecaster T. Balaji and the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

Balaji, popularly known as Telangana Weatherman, said dry northerly winds could bring cooler conditions to Hyderabad on October 25, 26 and 27. Minimum temperatures in central Telangana could fall to around 14°C.

However, the cooler conditions may be short-lived as the approaching weather system could bring rain and gusty winds to several districts.

Balaji also predicted that a cyclone could develop over the Bay of Bengal and cross the central Andhra Pradesh coast. However, the IMD’s national bulletin issued on October 23 described the system as likely to intensify into a deep depression on October 25 and a cyclonic storm by the morning of October 26. The IMD had not classified it as a severe cyclonic storm in that bulletin.

The IMD Hyderabad forecast dry weather across Telangana until October 27, with isolated to scattered rainfall likely between October 27 and 29. Heavy rainfall is possible at isolated places on October 28.

Gusty winds of 30 to 40 kmph, occasionally reaching 50 kmph, are also likely across the state during this period.

Hyderabad could see increased cloud cover as the weather system approaches, while eastern Telangana districts may experience the most significant rainfall.

The IMD has forecast gale-force winds of 70 to 80 kmph, with gusts reaching 90 kmph, over the west-central Bay of Bengal from October 26. Fishermen have been advised to avoid the affected sea region between October 26 and 28.

Residents should follow official IMD updates for the latest rainfall, wind and cyclone warnings, as forecasts may change with the system’s development.
