Determined to reclaim public property without compromise, HYDRAA has already freed hundreds of acres in the city from unlawful occupation.
In its latest operation, HYDRAA recovered government land worth ₹750 crore. The 5-acre parcel, located on Banjara Hills Road No. 10 in Shaikpet Mandal, had been encroached upon despite part of it, 1.20 acres, already being allocated to the Water Board for official use.

Authorities allege that a man named Parthasarathy had illegally occupied the land, erecting fences, using bouncers and guard dogs to secure the area, and building sheds.
Complaints also surfaced that he consumed alcohol on-site and obstructed the operation of a nearby water reservoir run by the Water Board.
Investigations revealed that Parthasarathy attempted to seize the land using a fake survey number (403/52). The Revenue and Water Board departments registered four criminal cases against him at Banjara Hills Police Station.

Following this, HYDRAA teams, supported by heavy security and earth-moving equipment, moved in to reclaim the plot removing fences, dismantling sheds, and installing boards clearly marking the area as government property to safeguard it from further encroachment.
