I Am Shocked, CM Mamata Banerjee Key Comments On Governor Bose Resignation
Kolkata/Hyderabad, Mar 6 (Maxim News): It is known that CV Ananda Bose has resigned from the post of West Bengal Governor. In this context, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee has made key comments on Bose’s sudden resignation. She said that Governor Bose’s sudden resignation has left her deeply shocked. She said that she does not know the reason for his resignation. However, she alleged that he may have been under pressure from Union Home Minister Shah before the Bengal Assembly elections to fulfill some political interests.
She said that she had informed Union Home Minister Amit Shah that TGamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi has been given additional charge as Governor of West Bengal in place of Bose. She said that as per tradition, she never consulted in this regard. She expressed anger over the central government’s attitude, saying that such actions will damage the spirit of the Indian Constitution and damage the foundation of our federal structure.
She suggested that the Centre should respect the principles of cooperative federalism and avoid taking unilateral decisions that would damage democratic traditions and the dignity of the states. Meanwhile, the sudden resignation of CV Ananda Bose, who has always been at odds with the Mamata Banerjee government, on the eve of the Bengal Assembly elections has become a hot topic of discussion in bengal politics.
