I Have Nothing To Do With Designs, Irrigation Dept Took Care Of It: Eatala Rajender To Kaleshwaram Commission

Hyderabad, June 6 (Maxim News): BJP MP Eatala Rajender, who attended the hearing before the Kaleshwaram Commission, make key comments. He said that he had nothing to do with the Kaleshwaram designs. The Irrigation Department had done everything. Eatala said that those responsible for Kaleshwaram should be punished.

He said that the Finance Minister also has nothing to do with the Kaleshwaram Corporation. He said that funds were given as per the allocations. He said that KCR had said that he had done all the design and construction of Kaleshwaram himself. He said that KCR is the boss for all decisions.

Eatala said that he has requested the commission to take action against the Kaleshwaram corruption and punish those responsible. He said that he did nothing in the Kaleshwaram project and that he has nothing. Eatela said that he served as the first Finance Minister of Telangana and was well-known to the Telangana society for 25 years. In 2016, the estimate of the Tummadihetti project was Rs. 16,500 crores and laer it increased to Rs. 38 thousand crores.

Eatala said that Maharashtra has objected to Thummadi Hetty. Reports have come that the water needs will not be met through that project. He said that Kaleshwaram was selected only when the government asked to look at an alternative. He said that the decision to go for Kaleshwaram was taken after examining all the technical aspects. Kaleshwaram was initially estimated at Rs. 63 thousand crores. but later it increased to Rs. 83 thousand crores. Eatala Rajender said that he doesn’t know how much it cost in the end. (Maxim News)
