Hyderabad, June 6 (Maxim News): HYDRA Commissioner, AV Ranganath said that a special drive has been launched on the drains in the city. He said that he will focus on this issue for the next 4 months.
He said that a special study will be conducted on the areas where flood water stagnates. He said that strict action will be taken against encroachments on drains and water resources.
He said that illegally constructed commercial buildings on the drains will be removed. He said that the issue of construction by the poor will be brought to the attention of the government. Ranganath said that illegal structures on the Rasoolpura drain have been demolished. (Maxim News)
