‘I Will Speak Only For India’ Another Old Man In Congress After Shashi Tharoor

Delhi/Hyderabad, July 29 (Maxim News): As the Shashi Tharoor episode continues, another old man from the Congress party has come to the fore.  Senior leader and MP Manish Tewari has posted a cryptic post on his social media.  It is noteworthy that this is in the context of Operation Sindoor.

It is known that there was a discussion yesterday that the Congress party kept Shashi Tharoor and Manish Tewari away from the Operation Sindoor discussion.  However, he posted on X that he would speak for India as an Indian.  Did the Congress keep Tharoor and Tiwari away from the Operation Sindoor discussion, saying that they would speak in favor of the government? He shared a cutting regarding the article. “Love is the embodiment of life.  I sing the songs of this country.  I am an Indian living in India.  I make India’s words heard.”  He posted the lyrics of a patriotic song from the old Bollywood film Upkar. “Hai preet jahaan ki reet sada, main geet wahan ke gaata hoon, Bharat ka rehne wala hoon, Bharat ki baat sunata hoon – Jai Hind.” 

Manish Tewari’s tweet is causing a stir in the Congress.  he, along with Shashi Tharoor, had previously expressed views different from the congress’s stance on Operation Sindhur.  In this context, it is reported that both of them have refused to speak in the Lok Sabha in line with the Congress stance.
