Hyderabad, Dec 10 (Maxim News): Chief Minister Revaznth Reddy said that he came to Osmania University with a heart full of admiration.  He visited Osmania University on Wednesday.  laer, he addressed the students at a public meeting.

“I came with the determination to make this university meet international standards.  “There were many struggles in Telangana against domination.  There was an armed struggle against the anarchy of the Nizam and the Razakars. Common people like Chakali ailamma and Doddi Komurayya fought against the aristocrats.  The Telangana movement came because justice was not being done in the United States.  The movement was started by students from Osmania.  in the past, students had strongly voiced their desire for self-rule from this platform.  have the aspirations of the people been fulfilled in the state they fought for? or not? I wanted to know here.  Many people have asked me in the past why I dare to go to osmania university.  it is not my courage.  It is my admiration.  I have come here to write our future plans.  My determination is to make OU meet international standards.  

There is a consciousness and manliness in the telangana region.  Many OU students took to the jungle with weapons for the state.  This university has produced many famous people like Gaddar, George Reddy, PV Narasimha Rao.  A poor child who did not go to school,  Andesri, gave the slogan of Jaya Jaya Telangana.  no matter what problem the society faced, the students of this university took the lead.  After the formation of the state, they did not ask for a share in anyone’s property.  They only asked for freedom and equal opportunities.  This government gives you freedom to grow.  You should become a compass for the world.  I do not want to make political comments about anyone.  Some have been saying this for two years.  I did not study in Guntur.  Those who studied in Guntur go in a Benz car and learn about poverty.  What do you want to say by giving lectures saying that you studied in Guntur, Pune and America?

I maynot be able to speak the language properly, but I can understand the language of the poor.  I know what benefit it would be if a poor child were to study.  We are taking steps to support the poor and helpless.  I have not built farmhouses, but I am doing it normally.  As the Chief minister of the state and your brother, I am standing in front of this Arts College.  I want to do programs that will live on in history.  We have invested in the Telangana anthem, Telangana Talli.  We have solved the problem of Dalits permanently through classification. We have solved the problem of a hundred years by taking caste census in the census.  The government does not have money to distribute.  They said that they would give three acres of land to Dalits.  Has anyone been given it in the last 10 years?  Even the Assamese who have land are suffering from backwardness.  To eradicate it, educational opportunities should be increased in every village.  We azre working to provide quality education and skills.  Education alone increases our self-esteem.

We have taken steps to ensure that everyone studies together in Young India Schools, which do not discriminate against caste in schools.  Those who have money can study anywhere.  Osmania University should provide quality education to poor students.  The Rs. 1000 crore sanctioned is not money.  We are looking at it as an investment for future generations.  I will not say anything rash.  If our country is in trouble, I know what medicine to use.  They think I do not know English.  Even China does not know that language.  But if that country stops production, China will also be upset.  Language is only for communication.  it is not knowledge.  OU is like the heart of the state.  If I fight over problems, I will not say no.  do not think that you should drink the elbow grease of political parties.  Do not think that you should carry their flags.  Maintain your independence, said Revanth.

The government has allocated huge funds to Osmania university.  It has sanctioned Rs. 1000 crores.  The Telangana State Higher Education Department has issued orders to this effect.  The Cm said that the release of funds of Rs. 1000 crores is being dedicated to the students. (Maxim News)
