IMD Hyderabad Rain Alert: hazy morning, no downpour predicted for the city

IMD Hyderabad has not forecast any rain for the city. It expects hazy conditions in the morning and partly cloudy skies. However, T Balaji, known as the Telangana Weatherman, said isolated rain is likely in Hyderabad from afternoon to night.
The rainfall deficit has pushed up demand for water tankers in the city. The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) is receiving around 6,500 tanker bookings a day this October.
Tanker demand usually peaks in summer, but bookings have stayed high during the monsoon because Hyderabad received much less rain this year.
