These fighter jets recently went to Pakistan and destroyed the terrorist camps there. Not only that, these MIG 21 fighter jets are also behind the Balakot airstrike. India has decided to say goodbye to these MIG 21 fighter jets. The decision has been taken to the extent.
The Indian Army has also decided to hold a special event to bid farewell to the MIG-21 fighter jets. The MIG-21 fighter jets will be replaced by Tejas MkIA fighter jets. These MIG-21 fighter jets first entered service on a trial basis in 1963. The Russian-made MIG-21 fighter jets remained the backbone of the Indian Air Force until 2000. The MIG-21’s dominance began to decline after India acquired the Sukhoi Su-30MKIs.
