Iran Agrees to Talks With US On Five Conditions

Hyderabad, March 29: Iran agrees to talks with US on five conditions, signaling a possible easing of tensions in West Asia. Tehran said negotiations can begin only if its demands are accepted.

Iran called for an immediate halt to attacks on its territory. It stressed protection of its energy infrastructure. Moreover, it demanded a ceasefire before talks start.

The country also sought complete removal of trade and oil sanctions. In addition, it asked for withdrawal of US forces from the Middle East. These demands aim to address long standing concerns.
