Harish Rao Alleges Marshals Overaction In Assembly

Hyderabad, March 29: Harish Rao alleges marshals overaction in Assembly during protests by BRS members in the Legislative Assembly. He claimed marshals pushed him near the Speaker well during the disruption.

A brief clash broke out when marshals stopped him. Moreover, BRS members objected to the conduct of marshals inside the House. They raised concerns over handling of the situation.

Marshals were deployed in large numbers at entry points. In addition, they were stationed in the inner lobby of the Assembly. Therefore, security presence increased during the protest.

BRS members continued their agitation inside the House. However, the Panchayat Raj Bill was passed without discussion. This drew further criticism from the protesting members.

Harish Rao termed the marshals action as excessive. Meanwhile, BRS leaders demanded accountability for the incident. They said such actions disrupt legislative functioning.
