IT And ED Searches Are Underway At MLC Kavitha’s House 

Hyderabad, March 15 (Maxim News):  IT and ED searches are underway at the house of MLC Kavitha, daughter of BRS Chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao. A team of 10 officers who came from Delhi to Kavitha’s residence in Hyderabad are conducting these searches.

Together with the IT and ED officials, a total of four teams have been formed and inspections are being carried out. On the other hand, heavy police were deployed in front of Kavitha’s residence.  BRS activists and fans are reaching Kavitha’s house in large numbers. A little anxiety started in BRS with these searches before the Parliament elections. 

It is known that Kavitha is an accused in the Delhi Liquor Scam case. Despite sending notices to appear in the hearing several times, she has not appeared in the meantime.

ED is collecting details of the last ten years’ financial transactions. The ED officials seized the cellphones of Kavitha and her assistants.  Along with Kavita, the ED is probing her husband’s businesses. It seems that these inspections are being carried out in the Delhi Liquor Scam case.

Meanwhile, it is known that the hearing on the petition filed by Kavitha in the Supreme Court on the ED investigation has been postponed to the 19th of this month.  The hearing was adjourned on Kavitha’s petition to direct the ED not to take action against her. It is noteworthy that two investigating agencies, IT and ED conducted a joint search of Kavitha’s house in this gap. (Maxim News)
