‘It’s An RSS/BJP Event’: Sonia Gandhi, Kharge Will Not Attend Ayodhya Ram Temple Consecration Ceremony
Delhi/Hyderabad, Jan 10 (Maxim News): Hindus are eagerly waiting for Ram Lalla Prana pratishtha in Ayodhya. The members of Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust themselves invited the dignitaries to attend the inaugural function.
The Congress Party has made it clear that it will not attend and made hot comments on the Prana Pratishtha program saying that it is a BJP and RSS event.
The members of the trust personally invited Congress National President Mallikarju Kharge, Congress Parliamentary Party Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Congress leader in Lok Sabha Adir Ranjan Chaudhary to participate in the Prana Pratishtha program last month.
Top leaders of the Congress party say that Sri Ram is worshipped by lakhs of people. They believe that religion is a personal matter. In the last few days, BJP and RSS have turned the event into a political issue.
The Congress leaders alleged that the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya is not yet completed. They criticised the BJP leaders for showing interest keeping in view the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections and described it as a stunt for election mileage. (Maxim News)
