Jagadish Meets Gadkari For Road Works
Hyderabad, July 31 (Maxim News): Telangana Government today urged the Centre to take immediate steps to improve transport facility by building roads and related bridges on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada route. Education Minister G Jagadish Reddy called on Union Surface Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari in Delhi and submitted a memorandum on the roads and related works in the State.
The minister later told the media that he urged Gadkari to take steps to build service roads, under pass bridges on National Highway 65 Hyderabad – Vijayawada. He also said he urged the Union minister to take immediate steps for construction of flyovers and drains at Nagaram and Tirumalagiri villages on NH 365 Suryapet-Janagam.
Telangana was making rapid development in all sectors under stewardship of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. Several welfare schemes were being implemented in the State that are ideal for other States, he claimed. “We have urged the Centre to sanction funds for several development programs in the State,” Jagadish Reddy said.
