Jagan Sworn In As CM, Signs First File On Pensions
Vijayawada, May 30 (Maxim News): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy put his first signature on the pension file. He increased the pension of elderly people from Rs 1,000 to Rs 2,250. He promised to increase the same by Rs 250 per year.
As the massive crowds cheered, the new Chief Minister of the residuary State, Jagan assured the people that he would keep up all the promises made in his manifesto. Addressing the huge gathering, Jagan said during the 14-month padatyatra, he had lent his ear to scores of problems shared by people. Assuring them that he was there for them and that he will stand by them, the Chief Minister vowed a corruption free governance in the State.
Earlier, Jagan was administered oath of office by Governor ESL Narasimhan. Leaders from across the States like Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and DMK chief MK Stalin attende the swearing in ceremony of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s oath-taking ceremony took place at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium in Vijayawada. (Maxim News)
