Jagga Reddy keeps his word on MLC elections
Hyderabad, Dec.14 (Maxim News): Congress party MLA from Sangareddy Assembly constituency T. Jagga Reddy has kept his word on the outcome of local body MLC elections in his undivided Medak district. He said that he would resign from his post if the party candidate got less than 230 votes in the elections held for the seat on 10th of this month. However, the party candidate got seven votes more than the promised 230 votes in the elections in the results declared today.
Commenting on the issue, Jagga Reddy said that the Congress party had registered a moral victory in the elections. He also said that the party workers from the Medak district had worked hard to ensure the party candidate got all the votes. He said that they had successfully protected the party vote bank in the native district of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. He mocked that although the ruling TRS party bagged the MLC seat, the trouble shooter of the ruling party and state Finance minister T. Harish Rao had now been pushed to a corner due to the performance of the congress party.
He alleged that Harish Rao ran camps to protect his party voters . Reddy said that they would have proved their might had the state finance minister did not hold the camps. He said that the real political game had begun in the Medak district with the performance of the party. He said that the party would win Gajwel assembly seat represented by the CM and Siddipet Assembly segment represented by Harish Rao in the 2023 assembly elections. (Maxim News)
