Hyderabad, Nov.28 (Maxim News): As part of Green India Challenge, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar today planted a sapling at his residence in Delhi. The minister participated in green challenge program along with TRS MPs K Keshav Rao, Sathosh Kumar and B Prakash.
Speaking on t he occasion, Javadekar appreciated Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for the flagship “Haritha Haram” program in Telangana State. He also praised Santhosh Kumar for organizing the green challenge program. The minister gave a pat that about 4.5 crore saplings were planted so far under the green program. The program of green cover expansion was very good as it checks pollution, Javadekar said. (Maxim News)
