Jeevan Urges CM To Pay Rs 4,000 Pay To Sanitary Workers In Panchayats

Hyderabad, Sept.30 (Maxim News): In an open letter to Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, Congress MLC T. Jeevan Reddy on Monday urged the Chief Minister to pay Rs 4,000 to Rs 5000 to all sanitation employees of village panchayats in the State as per GOMS no. 64 of Panchayat Raj department.

In his letter, Jeevan Reddy informed the Chief Minister that the GO was not being implemented in the villages in the State. Referring to the announcement of the Chief Minister that the government would to pay Rs 8,500 salary to the sanitation staff of Gram Panchayats, Jeevan Reddy said no GO was issued so far on the issue by the State government. He also urged the Chief Minister to pay Rs 8,500 salary from the funds released for the ongoing 30-day action plan of the State government. (Maxim News)
