Jeevan’s Plea To Declare Health Emergency In State
Hyderabad, Sept.14 (Maxim News): Congress Party MLC T. Jeevan Reddy on Saturday demanded the state government to declare health emergency in the state. He said that time had come to declare the emergency as the total number of viral fever affected patients is growing.
Addressing media persons at assembly media point, he said that the resolution moved by him over the viral fevers had been rejected by the chairman of the council. He alleged that three patients are being forced to sleep on one bed of government hospitals. Reddy said that the poor people were concerned a lot due to the sharp decline in their platelets due to the viral fevers.
He said that there was no better treatment for viral fevers in Aarogyasri scheme and added that the private hospitals were not able to offer proper treatment to the patients. He urged the district collectors to hold special drive at all the government hospitals to prevent the viral fevers. He urged the state government to take steps for providing proper healthcare facilities at all the private hospitals of the state. (Maxim News)
