Jubilee Hills By Election: EC Latest Orders, Total 3,92,669 Voters

Hyderabad, Sept 3 (Maxim News): The Election Commission is preparing for the by-election in Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency in Greater Hyderabad. The election schedule is likely to be released in October. In this context, the focus is on the review of the voters’ list, changes and additions, the voting process, the establishment of polling stations, etc. It seems that the polling is likely to be held in the last week of October or the first week of November. It is known that the by-election for this constituency was inevitable after the untimely death of BRS MLA Maganti Gopinath. He breathed his last in June this year. With this, three parties have entered the fray to secure the seat.

The ruling Congress and the BJP are planning strategies and counter-strategies to retain their sitting position. This has ignited political heat in the constituency. Meanwhile, the EC has recently issued orders. Keeping this by-election in mind, the Central Election Commission has released a special revision schedule for the voters’ list.

It is ready to complete the exercise on changes and additions to the voters’ list. The dates related to this have been finalized. The process of regularization of polling stations began on the 28th of last month. It will be completed soon. The draft voters’ list was published on Tuesday. This voters’ list is available on the official website of the Central Election Commission. It said that objections and complaints, if any, regarding this list will be received till the 17th of this month. The EC said that the objections and complaints received will be resolved by the 25th of this month.

Final Voters’ List On 30th

After all the changes and additions, the final voters’ list will be published on the 30th of this month. There are a total of 3,92,669 voters in the Jubilee Hills constituency. Of these, 2,04,288 are men and 1,88,356 are women. 25 voters have been registered in the “Other” category. Voters have been advised to express their objections by the 17th of this month. If there are any objections such as adding or deleting new names in the voters’ list, correcting them or transferring them to another constituency… they have been advised to apply online through forms 6, 7, 8.

All these objections will be resolved by the 25th of this month. It was explained that the final voters’ list will be published on the 30th of this month. 407 polling stations have been set up in 139 different buildings in the constituency.
