Hyderabad, July 15 (Maxim News): Justice P.C. Ghose Commission has questioned about 10 IAS officers today on the defects and irregularities in the construction of barrages in the Kaleswaram project.

Smita Sabharwal, Rajat Kumar, Vikas Raj, Ramakrishna Rao, Rahul Bojja, SK Joshi, and Kancharla Raghu appeared before the commission. It includes many junior and former senior IAS officers.
Justice Ghosh questioned them on the key decisions and procedures implemented in the construction of Kaleswaram projects. The Chandra Ghosh Commission put key questions to them on structural defects. The IAS officers gave an explanation on this. The decisions taken on the projects in the previous BRS government, their implementation and other details were explained to the commission.

Later, the Commission ordered to submit the details so far in the form of an affidavit within a week. However, the present Finance Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao has asked for more time in the context of Telangana budget meetings. The commission ordered to submit the affidavit before August 5. While Smita Sabharwal, Rajat Kumar, Vikas Raj, Ramakrishna Rao, Rahul Bojja, and Kancharla Raghu were present in person, SK Joshi was present through video conference. Former CS Somesh Kumar will also appear before Justice Ghosh Commission today. (Maxim News)
