Hyderabad, Aug.17 (Maxim News): The state government’s prestigious project, Kaleswaram works, were stalled due to the rains lashing the state for the last three days. The higher officials were supervising the situation at Kaleswaram project, which was being constructed at Mahadevpur Mandal in Jayashankar Bhupalapally district, continuously.
The officials were taking precautionary measures as the huge water current was coming as the officials lifted the gates of Ellampally project. The engineering and police officials were alert at first barrage at Annaram and second barrage at Medigadda of Kaleswaram project, as the water flow was severe. The area of barrage soaked in the water and the officials shifted the workers and equipment to safe place. The officials ensured that no untoward incident took place, by initiating necessary precautionary steps. Kaleswaram project chief engineer Nalla Venkateshwarlu is supervising at field level.
The works at Medigadda, Annaram barrage and gravity canal were stalled. The officials were afraid of the copper dam as it was constructed at Medigadda barrage on the verge of danger due to the severe flood current. (Maxim News)
