Kamareddy Municipality Passes A Resolution Canceling The Master Plan

Kamareddy/Hyderabad, Jan 20 (Maxim News): The suicide of farmers, continuous protest, and the resignation of counselors belonging to the BJP and Congress, has now given relief to the agitating farmers who were in fear of losing their lands for the rich entrepreneurs close to the ruling BRS party in the name of development and the industrial zone has now seems to have to an end as the Kamareddy Municipal Council which met urgently, passed a resolution to cancel the master plan.

The Councillors of all 49 wards along with the Chairman and Vice Chairman attended the meeting. After the meeting, Municipal Chairperson, Jahnavi spoke to the media persons saying that the farmers are worried about the master plan, this emergency meeting has been held for giving clarification saying that we have sent a different master plan to the government, she blamed the opposition parties BJP and Congress stating that these parties have misled the farmers, hence we decided to cancel the master plan given by the Design Development Forum, we will send it to the government.

Jahnavi said that we are with the farmers, BRS is the farmer government, no one is wrong, and do not believe the words of the opposition, as we have taken objections for 60 days. We have also sent them to the government. No Industrial zone under any circumstances will be set up “Farmers should stop worrying.” she said. (Maxim News)
