Kavitha Bibi Ka Alam | Hyderabad, June 22 (Maxim News): Telangana Jagruthi president K. Kavitha visited Bibi Ka Alam at Darulshifa on Monday as part of the Moharram mourning days and accused the state government of neglecting arrangements for the annual observances.
She demanded the immediate release of funds to Ashur Khanas and pending allocations for minority welfare.
Speaking after the visit, Kavitha said Moharram is a time to remember the sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain in the battlefield of Karbala. She said his sacrifice for truth and humanity should continue to inspire society.
Kavitha alleged that the government had failed to make proper arrangements for Moharram and had delayed financial support to religious institutions linked to the observance.
She urged the government to release funds to Ashur Khanas without further delay.
