Kavitha On Kaleshwaram Project Gaps

Hyderabad, Nov 28 (Maxim News): Telangana Jagruthi president Kavitha issued fresh comments on gaps in the Kaleshwaram project. She said the government promised water for Kamareddy, Nizamabad, Dubbak and Banswada.

Kavitha added that Package 22 needed funds and land. She stated that progress stayed poor. She stressed that people still waited for supply. She also said that the Kaleshwaram project failed to deliver to both districts.

Kavitha Targets Delays in Kaleshwaram Project

Kavitha said Package 22 required 1446 crore rupees. She said the government released only 450 crore rupees. She stated that the project needed 1500 acres. Yet she said the state did not acquire even one hundred acres.

Kavitha argued that leaders shouted at her to hide failures. She said that Kamareddy did not get water for even one acre. She added that Nizamabad also faced the same issue.

Kavitha recalled one instance when the state drew water from Haldi Vagu. She said the state then filled Nizam Sagar. She added that heavy rain for four years reduced the need for project water.

Kavitha said this erased the claim of regular supply. She declared that the Kaleshwaram project failed to support agriculture in two major districts.

Kavitha also raised corruption charges. She said earlier that the project faced major irregularities. She linked the issue to leadership choices.

Kavitha said Harish Rao pushed actions that harmed project integrity. She stated that these actions placed a stain on KCR. She again asked the state to present full accounts.

Jagruthi President Kavitha urged authorities to share land data. She demanded clear and open reports. She said citizens deserved answers. She added that farmers needed steady water for coming seasons.

Kavitha said her comments aimed to protect public interest. She stated that projects must serve people. She stressed that leaders must complete planned works.

Kavitha also said that unresolved delays harmed rural growth. She asked the state to focus on core needs.
