KCR erred by denying ticket to me, he will meet Waterloo, says Konda Surekha

Hyderabad, Sept.25 (Maxim News): Alleging that “Dora Rule” was going on in the State, Warangal East Assembly former MLA Konda Surekha has said the TRS party has committed a mistake by refusing a ticket to her. She complained that both Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and his minister son K Tarakarama Rao did not care to ‘speak to us though we addressed an open letter. I will not join the TRS again. Are we weaker than the 105 candidates announced by KCR”, she asked.

Speaking to the media here today, Konda Surekha alleged that KCR was suppressing the BCs and troubling them as they were Harish Rao’s supporters. Alleging that even Harish Rao was facing problems in the party, Surekha reminded that Harish Rao had said he would leave politics. She said she would announce in which party she was going to join. She also claimed that they have received invitations from 15 political parties, including the BJP to join them. “We will announce our future course of action. I will contest the elections. My husband or my daughter will be in the election arena”, she confirmed.

Releasing a copy of open letter addressed to caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, Surekha said she was elected as MLA four times, but KCR didn’t give a chance to her in the Cabinet. Non-inclusion of woman in Cabinet shows as how much respect KCR has towards women, she said. Claiming that there was opposition among the people towards KCR government, she alleged that KCR was afraid of defeat if elections were held along with Lok Sabha and raised curtains to pre-poll. She was deeply hurt as her name was missing in the list of 105 candidates.

KCR would go into history as a Chief Minister, who didn’t attend Secretariat. Reminding KCR’s promise that he would provide job to every family, Konda said four members of KCR family got jobs. KCR was not accessible to people as well as to public representatives, she bemoaned. She also alleged that KCR was showing partiality towards her as she was a BC woman. She said the poor farmers didn’t benefit with the Rythu Bandhu scheme but only rich farmers.

Surekha also alleged that KCR was contemplating to make his son KTR as Chief Minister. She also alleged that Nizamabad MP and KCR’s daughter K Kavitha, who came to India to stay here for a month’s vacation, has become a businesswoman. She also asked about Nayeem’s case. She also asked KTR, who was stating that he would take political sanyas if the TRS fails to win in the coming elections, to get ready as the Mahakootami would sweep elections. She also faulted KCR for not constructing Jayashakar’s memorial yet.

MLC and Surekha’s husband Konda Murali said KCR inducted defectors into his cabinet. “I will take responsibility for victory of Surekha by one lakh vote majority”, he added. (Maxim News)
