Violence can’t solve problems: Venkaiah

Tirupati, Sept.25 (Maxim News): Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu today said one cannot resolve problems by violence.

The Vice-President was speaking to the media after worshiping Lord Venkateshwara at Tirumala this morning. In an indirect reference to the killing of a TDP MLA Sarveshwar Rao and a former MLA Soma by Maoists, he said ballot was more powerful than bullet. Describing killing of girijans was a heinous crime, Venkaiah wondered as to why those who advocate on civil rights were keeping quiet and not responding on Araku incident.

“We cannot bring about changes in the society by killing humans”, he said and asserted that it was possible only by creating social awareness. (Maxim News)
