Watch: KCR Govt Ego Down, Lunch Motion Petition Withdrawn
Hyderabad, Jan 30 (Maxim News): The Telangana government headed by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao ( KCR ) has come down from its ego of commencing the Budget session of the Assembly without the Governor’s Speech has now told to the High Court that the Budget session will be with the Governor’s speech.
In this regard, the lunch motion petition filed by the State government through Dushyant Dave, advocates for the government, said that the government will take notice of the matter of not criticizing the Governor
As the distance between the State Governor Tamilisai Soundara Rajan and the government increased for some time. the KCR government approached the High Court against the Governor’s actions. The reason for the government’s decision was the lack of permission from the Governor to introduce the state budget in the legislature. While the state legislative session will begin in four days, the government has decided to introduce the budget on February 3, as the approval of the State Governor has to be given for this, she sent a letter to the Governor on the 21st of this month seeking permission. But Governor Tamilisai still did not give permission.

Moreover, a return communication was sent from the Governor’s office to the government. Have you sent them a copy of the Governor’s speech before the Budget is presented in the Legislative Assembly? or did the Governor’s office ask the government?
The government did not respond to this. Even the Governor did not decide on the permission. On the other hand, as February 3 approaches, the government is suffocating. Finally decided to approach the Court. In this regard, a lunch motion petition has been filed.
The Supreme Court Senior Advocate Dushyant Dave has been engaged by the government to ask the High Court to direct the Governor to immediately allow the introduction of the budget in the Legislative Assembly. The petition was supposed to come before the bench headed by Chief Justice Ujjal Bhuyan and Justice Tukaranki. Government sources say that according to Article 202 of the Constitution, the approval of the Governor has to be given to introduce the budget in the Legislative Assembly. (Maxim News)
