Gold Chain Theft Offender Arrested: Seized 45 Grams Ornaments

Hyderabad, May 24 (Maxim News) The sleuths of crime staff of Mehdipatnam Police Station apprehended the Pocket Picker (P.P) hathagale Sanjana aged 20 years. Occ: Daily labour R/o mangar Basthi, Afzalsagar, Hyderabad on 24.05.2025 at 08.00 hrs and recovered gold ornaments wg. about 45 Grams from her possession while she was trying to sell them at Vijaynagar colony, Hyd.

The brief facts of the case are that on 22.05.2025 at 17:30 Hours received a complaint from Smt. Gadili. Hyma W/o. B. Bhaskara Rao, Age: 25 Years, Occ : House Wife R/o: Plot No.15 Motibagh near BSNL exchange road, Vikarabad District., Mobile No: 8500363578 N/o. H.No. 3-37 BC Street Turkapeta, Moolasowlapuram, District: Srikakulam came to PS and reported that on 20.05.2025 she along with her husband and her child coming from Srikakulam to Hyderabad by V. Kaveri Travels bus and get down at Gandhibhavan Metro Station, then they travel from Gandhi bhavan Metro to Begumpet Metro station, then they hired Rapido Auto from Begumpet Metro to Mehdipatnam Bus stand and get down auto at about 8.30 am. Later at about 08.40 am while she get in RTC Bus to go to Vikarabad and see that her hand bag zip is opened and Gold Chain (15 grams), Laxmi Devi Locket (9 grams), Anjaneyaswamy locket ( 2 grams ), one pair earrings (5 grams) and gold biscuit 24 grams. Total 55 grams of gold ornaments. She suspected that some unknown person committed the theft of the above Gold Ornaments. She searched at Mehdipatnam bus stop, but was not found.

The Crime Team of Police Station Mehdipatnam under the supervision of . G. Chandra Mohan, DCP South West Zone, Iqbal Siddiqui, Addl. DCP, South West Zone, K. Vijay Srinivas, Asst. Commissioner of Police, Asifnagar Division and S Mallesh, SHO Mehdipatnam P.S. under the leadership of G. Bala Krishna, Detective Inspector of Police, Ahmed Pasha DSI, Crime staff on the tip of information about the presence of accused person who was trying to sell the Gold ornament at Vijaynagar colony, on 24-05-2025 at 08.00 hrs crime staff has apprehended the offender Hathagale Sanjana. On Interrogation, the accused Hathagale Sanjana confessed the above offence .
