KCR, Jagan Condoles Death Of Potturi

Hyderabad, March.5 (Maxim News): On hearing news of Potturi’s demise, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao expressed his deep condolences over the passing away of Potturi Venkateswara Rao. The Chief Minister commended the services rendered by Venkateswara Rao in the field of media and social service. He recalled the moral support extended by Potturi Venkateswara Rao during the Telangana statehood movement. The Chief Minister prayed the Almighty to rest the departed soul in peace. KCR also conveyed his heartfelt condolences to members of the bereaved family.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, in his message, praised Potturi’s role in Telugu journalism and said Venkateswara Rao, who served for over five decades was someone who left a lasting impact in the field of journalism. He also said Potturi, who served as chairman of the Press Academy during the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh State, had trained many writers and journalists under his guidance. He expressed his deep condolences to the family members of Venkateswara Rao.(Maxim News)
